At Thornhill Periodontics, we believe all of our patients deserve exceptional dental care regardless of their financial situation. Additionally, every patient has a different financial situation and that’s why we work hard to find a solution so that you can obtain the best dental service for you and your family. Here is some more detail about payment options for your dental implants.
Since each patient and their needs are different, there is no one price that we quote for dental implant treatment. We constantly strive to give all our patients the finest dental care at the most reasonable prices. To ensure this happens, we will provide a written estimate for all services prior to beginning any treatment plan. We find that this helps better assist our patients in fitting our services into their budgets.
Our treatments are carefully crafted to meet the dental health needs of each patient. For this reason, payment is expected at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, debit, Visa, and MasterCard.
Our financial team will work closely with you on your insurance coverage to obtain payment for your treatment if at all possible. We ask that patients provide us with all the necessary insurance information prior to their appointment so that we can accurately and efficiently process your forms for you. Please note that we will instruct your insurance company to send your specific benefit payments directly to you.
Many dental insurance plans do not cover 100% of treatment costs for dental implants. Some do not cover any of the procedure because it is considered elective. This does not mean that your procedures are not necessary. As dental implants continue to gain popularity in the coming years, more insurance plans are sure to begin offering coverage. In the meantime, we will do everything that we can to help you maximize your existing coverage.
